    Hi There,

I have been having trouble with the truefindpage coming up out of no where. I have read some forums on this site and says to scan system with prog Hijack This then leave a full report of scan for help in advising me what files to delete and what not to delete.

I have done so and will leave the log below. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. ;)

    Hi Matt,

    Got your PM;)
This thread should have been in the spyware forum and hjt logs should be posted as attachments(not copied and pasted).
    Anyway..

    O2 - BHO: Big Fish Games - {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-86BD-FD60BB9AAE3A} - C:\PROGRA~1\BFGTOO~1\BFGTOO~1.DLL
    O3 - Toolbar: Big Fish Games - {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-86BD-FD60BB9AAE3A} - C:\PROGRA~1\BFGTOO~1\BFGTOO~1.DLL

These are responsible for truefind. You should check these items and fix and reboot and post another hjt log.I will have this moved to the spyware forum. They will also check for other issues that I have missed.

    C:\DOCUME~1\Home\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 2 for hijackthis[1].zip\HijackThis.exe

Also this log was generated from HijackThis running from the user temp dir. This happens if you run it directly from the zip file.Extract it to a folder and then run hijack this. :)

If you still have problems after following what Kadavill gave you then follow the steps below.

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ ME FIRST BEFORE ASKING FOR SUPPORT: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal

Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.

After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps below:

    - Download HijackThis 1.99.1

    - Unzip the hijackthis.exe file to a folder you create named C:\Program Files\HJT

    - Do NOT run Hijack This from the Desktop, a temp folder, or a sub-folder of C:\Documents and Settings, or choose to run it directly from the downloaded ZIP file.

    - Before running HijackThis: You must close each of the following:your web browser, e-mail client, instant messenger, and programs like notepad, wordpad, MS Word etc. And any other unnecessary running programs.

    - Run HijackThis and save your log file.

    - Post your log as an ATTACHMENT to your next message. (Do NOT copy/paste the log into your post).
