i removed it from my computer but today the old desktop icon was back. it is no longer in the add/remove programs list... is it actually gone? or is it slowly sneaking back

 

Never heard of this, have you check in C:\Program Files and removed the directory and the desktop icon manually?

 

looking through my programs and its not there. but i do see a few things that are suspicious. ill name them and tell me if they are bad.

security stronghold, UnSpyPC, Spyblocs... are any of these bad?

i know right now it wont let me remove damn bearshare... says some file is missing. i never should have used that websie. it was a long time ago and my computer hated me for it.

 

Make sure you run the online scans and attach those logs with a fresh HJT log so we can begin cleaning your computer.
