Fed up waiting? Simple maintaince can make your computer run quicker.

Most of us have downloaded stuff that looks interesting, tried it for a while then forgot about it, this is one of the reasons your machine is running slow, OK windows has a uninstaller, but it’s not very good, there’s a better one called IOBit Uninstaller. It takes a few minutes to download and install,
It may seem silly to add a programme to remove programmes, but it’s worth it, and talking about worth, it’s free. WE LIKE FREE!!

Using Yahoo, Google or your favourite search engine type in
    (MG)IOBIT UNINSTALLER 2.4.7.340 DOWNLOAD
THERE ARE LOTS OF IOBIT INSTALLER SITES USE THE ONE ABOVE
Others may not be safe, install weird Tool Bars, or may not be free

This will take you to the safest download site on the internet (MAJOR GEEKS)

For the masses, stick with windows uninstaller imo. Not bad advice otherwise, though.

I might disagree on how much extra apps slows machines down, unless they have TSR components.

I havent seen uninstalled apps go to the recycle bin when uninstalled, usually they disappear directly.

    Non-serious advice to follow:

To guarantee removal of all programs, open case, remove hard drive, place in drill press, and drill no less than 4 holes. All programs are guaranteed to be removed.

    Okay, seriously, don't do that.

I usually use IOBit, especially when removing preinstalled antivirus and junkware programs during an OEM restore. My reason for doing this is IOBit's deep scan finds and removes a lot (sometimes up to a few hundred) leftover registry entries even after the standard uninstall (accessed through IOBit) finishes.

BTW, IOBit Uninstaller also comes with and installs with Advanced System Care v.6.

Not arguing; just curious on why you prefer Windows uninstaller without the additional deep scan IOBit provides.

I'm partial to 1/2", but 5/8" works as well.

I find that more often than not giving customers additional maintenance tools inadvertently leads to them experimenting and in turn breaking something.

Call it lack of trust ;)

I know we as advanced users prefer more clean installs, but even the not so clean uninstalls that Windows does are safer.

Ironically, most uninstalls from OS X are far, far, worse than what Windows leaves behind.
