Trying to install Kaspersky

Im so vexed right now......:mad

I had Avast installed but prior to that had AVG8. I never had issues installing Avast because um... I Uninstalled AVG with CCleaner completely off my system prior (OR ATLEAST THE SYSTEM SHOULD hAVE!!!!)

While trying to install Kaspersky now after uninstalling AVAST right before the Kas setup is able to begin it says it can't because i have AVG on my system....http://static.bbmp3.com/smilies/banghead.gif What am I missing?!?!?!?!?!

Why is KAS recognizing AVG when it's not there?

Why do i need to run a avast utility when its telling me have some sort of old AVG8 Component? :-D

Why the change of heart in AV's. KAS is a prob to uninstall from what I've heard.

 

Actually the Blue Screen error i posted up about somehow motivated me to get a new A/V proggy lol....

I just don't understand where an error like such stems from.. Iv'e only seen it on a laptop which is this one..

So i dunno....:cry

PS. I installed the AVG8 N then used its uninstaller n the restart. When i went to the install process for Kas it was the same thing... Said i needed to uninstall AVG8 Either kas is retarded, my computer is, or Both...

I think imma just get my Avast back...... Blah.

Na its all good i got Avast FULL Home/Pro addition going. So im fine now. Besides i can't uninstall something that's not there... Kaspersky is just upset that it wasn't the initial Malware proggy installed.... :-D
