Well, I went out and bought a 1/4 -> 1/8 adapter. It fit perfectly, but I can't get any sound. Anyone got a clue? I've played with the sound settings a little. Let me know.

What soundcard do you have? Where are you plugging it into? Line in? If so, maybe raise your line in level, or turn up the level on your speakers.

It's suggested to have a pre-amp before going into a regular soundcard (or onboard sound). This is because regular soundcards do not have a preamp to drive the signal.

You can also buy a special sound input card/adapter (m-audio, emu, Guitarport, etc) which is the more common method for musicians.

Yeah, I got it to work... stupid me didn't plug it in right. The cord was getting pressure on it and wouldn't sit in right. Now it is fine. It sounds great. Works just like an amp which is cool because now I don't have to print the dang tabs, lol. Plus I can record wonderfully. A lot better than using a stupid microphone recorder. I currently just use Nero wave editor for recording, but I'll give that program a shot. Looks pretty cool... built in effects! :)
