TurboTax Alternatives?

I heard that TurboTax does not put C-dilla on your computer now, but do they do anything else sleazy for copy protection now?

Every time we install software we have to accept an agreement that says that whatever the program does, it does, and they aren't responsible.

So I want a federal tax program that

1) doesn't install some heavy-handed or risky protection stuff on my machine

2) I don't want an online service that gets my most sensitive personal info.
