Is it possible to turn your audio in, into audio out?

The reason I ask is I have 4.1 surround speakers but can only use the front two or front back at the same time. I tried to resolve this problem before but gave up.

If I can turn my audio in into an audio out, could I have surround sound, or atleast mono sound?

I have a blue, a green, and a pink port thing.

No. Well, it's POSSIBLE.......but with real good soldering skills. But forget that.
You have 2 choices. Either get some external Y-adapters, or get a new sound card.
NewEgg has THREE PCI sound cards for under 10 bucks. A 5 channel, and two 4 channel ones. So you're talking about $11 WITH shipping included.
I think you know what to do now !

Well, if your motherboard is fairly new, chances are you have 5.1 surround sound.

In order for it to work, your motherboard has to support it. What is your make model?

You should be able to install the drivers and switch to 4.1 or 5.1 surround sound. Usually they will use the line out for front and line in for rear.

I have an ASUS K98 Delux, which says it supports surround sound.

I can never find a decent ASUS driver, or something to flash with.

Buying online is a hassel for me, so if you can find me that driver (I've searched to death) let me know!

I hope I can get this to work.

I installed that driver, but it didnt change my line in.

    Anything left to do?

splitt3r You are now the victim of a drive by title change

you could attach it with a headphone splitt3r, i don't think that would give you
surround sound though, maybe get a new sound card, the x-fi extreme music is awesome from what I hear.
