Turning off Language bar on my taskbar

Everytime I boot up, the Language bar is on even though I turn it off every time I boot up. Is there another setting that I can change so that it doesn't always turn on?

Just right click on your task bar. A window with toolbars at the top should appear. Click toolbars and the next window should show the language bar with a check mark next to it. Click on it and the check mark should disappear. You should be good to go after that. ;)

That's what I meant when I said that I always turn it off. But when I boot up/reboot, it's turned on again. I just reformatted my pc yesterday and there weren't any options for something like that, as I'm sure you know. I don't know what's going on with it.

:D It's been a while since I removed mine and I thought that was all I did to get rid of it, but I just clicked on it to put it on the task bar and it won't come up, so I am thinking I un-installed it. If you have CCleaner installed on your PC, go to Tools and then check your un-install list to see if it is listed there. If it is, just click on it and un-install it.
If you don't have CCleaner, go to Start>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs (and Windows Componets), then click Change or Remove Programs, if it isn't already on that window. Look for Language Bar in that list, click on it and then click Remove.

    1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Regional and Language Options.
    2. On the Languages tab, under Text services and input languages, click Details.
    3. Under Preferences, click Language Bar.
    4. Deselect the Show the Language bar on the desktop check box.

Had same question (how to 'permanently' turn-off of 'language bar') and was able to 'search' for (and find) your answer.
Seems like some processes are so more complicated than they need to be... what is it about software creators ? :)
Thanks again for your info !

I didn't get an email that there was a response to my question until today. It worked for me too :)
