TweakitGold malfunction, how restore settings?

I'm running win98, on a 64mb P200. I've been looking for ways to improve the performance of this secondary machine, as well as its appearance (having installed the "eXperience pack", both programs off majorgeeks). However, after I ran and configured Tweakit Gold once, I could no longer get it to work again. See it starts up, but an error appears saying "cannot focus a disabled or invisible window". The program then continues to remain alive (as it appears in the <ctrl><alt><del> window but is invisible. I made one annoying change I now want to get rid of: not saving desktop settings on shutdown. However I have no way to change this anymore. There is only one other person on the net on google search who has the same problem, and nobody tried to help him.
