two days now and still can't get graphics card to work

Hello. I am trying to install a new NVIDIA ge force pci into my Dimension3000 with Windows XP, but no matter what i try in device manager, there is no way to disable the onboard intel 82865g graphics controller. I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT DO THIS THROUGH THE BIOS!! When I reboot after disabling/ removing the intel graphics, they just reinstall themselves in a matter of seconds. I have 2 questions.

1) Are there any BIOS downloads for windows xp that contain "ADVANCED OPTIONS" so I can disable the onboard graphics??? ( my bios Ao2 doesn't have the "advanced options")

2) Does anyone know which .DLL I could delete to keep my onboard graphics from reinstalling itself? Are there any other files I could delete or any methods I could use do disable my onboard graphics? HELP PLEASE.

You may have a bad install disk, installing a new video card should not be that difficult.

I suggest you download the latest drivers (they'll be newer than what came on the CD), and save where you can easily find it.

Does anyone have a suggestion on a BIOS download that will enable me to access the "advanced" options?? I really want to try and disable my computer's onboard graphics controller.
