Okay, I just installed Ubuntu on my other HDD, and i'm running XP on this one. I was wondering if there was any way to choose which OS I want to start upon booting my system.

I'm using two HDDs, not one. I'm trying to be able to select which HDD I want to boot from when I turn on my PC.

The default Ubuntu boot loader, GRUB, can handle what you're talking about, no problem.

here is a thread on managing dual boot with different drives. not very different than dual boot on a single drive, you just specify the hard drive and partition instead of the partition alone. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=257334

You could also check the Drive Utilities section here at MajorGeeks for a boot manager. I've used OSL2000 in the past and it works great....
