Two Versions Os Same Software But On One Pc Advice

Morning,
I use a piece of software on my pc.
Lets call it ABC 123 version 1.5
Now there is an update to replace it so lets call it ABC 123 version 2.3

In the version 2.3 some item files have been removed BUT i still need to continue using them.
I dont want to install version 2.3 OVER version 1.5

So my question is How can i install version 2.3 AND also keep version 1.5
Both being on the same pc

I would then just select the icon on the desktop for the software i need to run / use.
