two way firewall

windows gives us one way fire wall as to my knowledge.. is there any other fire wall which supports two way and free ware..

i remember reading somewhere that two firewall shud not be there at a time..
so how do i unistall in built win xp fire wall..

Windows firewall can be turned off, Control pannel/security pannel/ windows firewall then check box turning it off
