Ukash Virus Help

Hey guys, so I was browsing something on the net and the ukash virus was downloaded on my computer. Tried to reboot onto safe mode with command prompt and the prompt box will only pop up for a second. Then tried to reboot in safe mode with networking and I can run task manager but not for very long once the white screen with the warning comes up and im locked out of everything! Cant run the computer at all as im pretty much locked out of everything..any help would be great. Feeling a bit aimless!

 

Hey im using windows 7.

 

Okay so I ended up doing a system restore and then scanned my computer with anti-malware software and removed and detected files. So my computer seems to working ok now however just wondering if this is a temporary fix or problem solved? Any tips on good anti virus protection in the future?
