Ever since the last Microsoft update, my computer has slowed to a crawl, especially on start-up and when switching between users. It seems to be very slow anytime a new process is initiated.

I have run the Malware tests and none of the scans show any signs of viruses, etc. Spybot, Counterspy, Bitdefender and Panda ActiveScan all come back clean indicating no problems found.

Attached is a copy of the GetRunKey, ShowNew and HijackThis logs.

I suspect that the problem is software related, though nothing new has been loaded on the computer in quite a while, other than the Microsoft updates.

Your help as always is appreciated.

That's because you do not have malware problems like last time you were here.

Uninstall CounterSpy to avoid additional slow downs. Also do what I suggested last time. See your previous thread and refer to message number 10: Slow PC

You are running with no antivirus program and your Symantec program did not uninstall properly. See the below in your HJT log:
    O23 - Service: Symantec Core LC - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC\symlcsvc.exe (file missing)
