um something called quicken

i have something called quicken on my computer and i dont know whgat it does so if anyone knows what this program is suppost to do can you tell me

then i can figure out if im ever gonna use it cause if im never gonna use id rather not have it taking up space on my laptop

Quicken is personal finanace managing software made by Intuit, useful for tracking bill payments, checks, etc. Hope this helped!

i dont think ill ever use quicken i pay my bills the day after they come in do you think i can remove quicken without messing up my laptop

 

Removal should be as simple as going to Control Panel/Add Remove Programs/ and removing it. This shouldn't cause any problems!

 

its not in add/remove programs its in my program files

 

It should be in Add/Remove, however if it's not, look for an uninstall entry in the programs Start Menu folder. ie Start, All Programs, Quicken folder, uninstall.

 

theres not a uninstall in my start menu thing i clixcked on start and clicked all programs and quicken is in there in internet and buisness software but theres no uninstall

theres only a folder in my c:\windows\program files called quicken and everythings in there but theres no uninstall

 

If it doesn't have an uninstall, which I find strange (which program and version is it exactly), you will have to manually delete the folders and files.

There also make a QUICK CLEAN UTILITY to remove any redundant files.
