unable to delete files off my external Harddrive

    I have an external Hard drive that I plan on using as a media server through my router. I was trying to delete some files off of it to clean it up a bit but I'm getting these error codes:

    0x80070570, and 0x80070091 for 2 different files.

    The error codes say that these are corrupted files. I've tried starting my PC in safemode and deleting them but still got the same errors. Any suggestions?

    Goldenskull I can't follow the rules

    Try running a Chkdsk first on the drive.

    Also if theres nothing you want to save on the drive, you might just try formating the whole external again.
