Unable To Download Files From Majorg With Firefox 71

Hi,
using Firefox latest version, has ABP and HTTPS everywhere extensions enabled. Win10 V1909.
Majorgeeks downloads fail with timeout message and can't connect to download site.

Work fine with Edge.

Any solutions?

 

Have you tried the page w/ABP disabled? Don't know of HTTPS everywhere ever causing similar problem.

Haven't used ABP in so long I forget the settings. Have no issues w/uBlock Origin however.

 

Just disabled and tried that. Unsuccessful.
Same message "Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at files2.majorgeeks.com."

 

Try running Firefox in safe mode to see if that works

 

Thanks. Just tried using Firefox in safe mode, File would download ok from both MG mirrors.
Used this helpful Firefox page to disable add-ons and enter Firefox Safe mode.

Will try and isolate problem to one of the add-ons.

 

HTTPS Everywhere seems to be the culprit. Although both MG download servers are whitelisted in that App and previously had no problem.
Removing the whitelisted download servers and white listing(disabling HTTPS Everywhere) on MG site seems to have fixed the problem. This is odd as MG is showing up as using HTTPS in the Firefox address bar.

 

Not all extensions are working properly it's really add them and try and if not uninstall the extension.
