Unable to find the WAB DLL

Microsoft Outlook 2000 doesn't seem to like my Vista Home Premium. As I was doing something with the calendar, I got this error message: "Unable to update public free/busy data. An error occurred while attempting to open the Windows Address Book. Unable to find the WAB DLL." The options are: OK or X-out. Whether I click OK or I X-out, the box disappears, only to return five to 10 minutes later throughout my computer session. I'd just like to get rid of the recurring message and perhaps get the current version of Outlook someday. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thank you, buggabear. What I had hoped for was just to get rid of the annoying message, but your post apparently has led to Outlook being functional for me. Also, the posts on the link you provided were interesting. Thanks again!
