unable to install bitdefender free antivirus

We had bitdefender free antivirus on our computer. I didn't use this computer for a month or 2. We have bitdefender on our other computers and they all use the same login and password.

I changed the password a few weeks ago for the other computers. I then tried to use the computer that was idle for a few months and bitdefender gave an error that the password had changed and wouldn't start. I tried repairing the installation but it kept giving errors so I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall but now it's giving the error that's it's unable to download the required files for the installation.

Assuming you are using a windows op system and uninstalled via control panel, you might follow up now with the bitdefender free uninstall tool, which is be found at the following page: http://www.bitdefender.com/site/view/uninstall_consumer_trial.html

It is the second step in a 2 step procedure for uninstalling their products, explained on their site.
