unable to open links

    I'm runninng Windows 7 and when I click on a link in Internet Explorer it opens up another window but the site doesn't open. There is nothing that comes up in the address bar. I've been unable to find any pop-up bloker that is causing my problem. Also in the address window there is no drop-down menu to visit recently visited sites. Any suggestions?

    It could be your anti-virus, anti-spyware or Internet Security programs. Temp turn those off and try again. If no go, you can also try a system restore to a date prior to the problem occurring.
