   I think my malicious sister managed to mess up something in the registry I do not know whether it is a malware but now my computer will not allow .exe or .lnk to work and none of my icons have thier little pictures. Windows asks me what i should use to open .lnk and .exe i really need help and I belive you guys are the only ones who can.

   No this is not typically a malware problem. It is a file association issue. You may be able to get it fixed by just using a registry patch you can get from the below site:
