unable to remove dmloade.dll

Norton Antivirus is detecting this file as a trojan, but I am unable to remove the file.

I tried using the latest versions of HiJack This, Spybot Search & destroy, and Ad-Aware 2007. But none are able to delete the file.

I even tried installin "Remove on Reboot Shell Extension", this did cause the file to be temporarily deleted on boot. Windows then displayed a message about the missing file. When I checked c:\windows\system32, the file was back.

I also tried to remove the registry entry for this file, but I don't have permissions to remove the registry entry (tryed as administrator and under the user account while in safe mode).

Any help in getting rid of this would be appreciated.

The formating of the file is fine, it just has unix line ending (LF) instead of DOS line endings (LF CR). Just open the file in Wordpad instead of Notepad, and it will display correctly.

Unfortunately, the computer that is experiencing this problem is an hour away, and I don't want to be driving back and forth to try to remove this file and have it fail.

The only logs I was able to take 2 days ago, were those that ones that were posted.

I'll follow Halo's recommendation the next time I'm there, but would like more information so that I would at least have a chance of a successful removal of this file from their system.
