    Hey there,

I've been getting this problem since last night.I have no idea how it came about.

I have already tried the "error checking tool" but everytime i restarted my laptop it kept on saying
"Disk check has been cancelled" when i didn't cancel it.
This happened for a few times, and now I am totally confused and irritated. Please help.

    Hi

    What Windows version you using?

Also do you have an add-on wifi/bluetooth mouse or keyboard (I know some users prefer not using the touchpad etc at times) if you do turn them off during reboot as the signal can act as a keypress.

Try running this command from a CMD prompt (click Start > Run and type cmd and hot enter) chkdsk /f /r and reboot.
