Ok I have been having problems with the computer for about 2 weeks now. It started off by hanging up or freezing all together while booting or even while using it. I had ZoneAlarm security suite on the computer and have had problems with it making the computer hang in the past. I uninstalled ZoneAlarm and went to get McAfee online and I was unable to access the page to download it. I downloaded the installer on another computer and put it on the problem computer and ran it, but it hang after I clicked it, then the download page popped up saying it couldn't connect to download the program. I tried then to go to different online malware scanning sites and got the error page saying they didn't exist. I am able to surf some other pages fine. Google will always redirect what I am looking up to some other random site. I downloaded all the programs it told me to on the forums and tried running and installing them. The only thing I could get to run was CCleaner. Spybot couldn't finish installing, SAS would not run at all, MB would install but would not run, and Combo fix would not run either. nothing pops up when I try to run the programs. I open the Windows Task Manager and it says the programs are running in the processes list but it shows no CPU usage or anything on the screen. I downloaded Kaperski offline scanner and put it on the computer and ran it, and it said there was no infections. I also tried the Avast offline scanner and it told me the same thing. Currently I have no antivirus on the computer and only the windows firewall to protect me. Since I was unable to run any of the listed programs and get logs, I am unable to give you any of those. If there is a different program that can give me a log to give to you, please let me know so I can get this fixed. 2 weeks of problems is killing me.

    Hello, altendevir

Click Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > View > Show Hidden Devices.
    • Scroll down to “Non-plug and Play Drivers” and click the plus icon to open those drivers.
    • Then search for TDSSserv.sys
    • Let me know if you find this or not.
    • If you do find it, right click on it, and select Disable. Do not try to uninstall it.
    • Also if this is found and you disable it, then reboot and see if you can run the other scans that would not run.
