Unable to screencap videos?

Alrighty then, whenever I have something playing and I want to screen cap it, I can hit print screen and paste the shot in paint and save it as a jpeg. But the second I close down WMP........then the jpeg becomes a great big gaping black hole. Is this fixable?

Which program do you use?
If you are capturing video files screen capture might not work.

 

I am using Windows Media Player 10 and Ive tried to cap both movie clips and vidoe clips I have.

Does wmp10 allow you to print?I dont see such an option in wmp10.
If you are using another screen capture program from wmp10,that is what I asked.
