I have been given an LG-VS415PP smartphone that does not boot up. All I get is the message "Unfortunately, the LGSetupWizard has stopped." I can get into the recovery mode, and the phone goes to the green robot with the blue rotating cube. But then, the recovery mode cuts off, and the phone goes to the recovery screen, as if it was reset, but with the error message. The phone acts as if it has been rooted, because a lot of the system apps are missing. I just need a diagnostic point to start from...

I tried what you said, after translating the page into English. The phone says it is downloading firmware, but the bottom of the screen says "rooted" in red. I think the problem may be with rooting, which I know nothing about.

That just means the user has admin level access. If system apps are truly missing, then flashing stock firmware is your only hope.
