UNCANNY - 3 IE errors/shutdowns while posting here

I have had 3 of those

boxes show up today on this site right when I click "submit message" for a post.

I think 3 times in one day for the same thing is rather unusual!?

Any ideas? Just bad luck or....

Yeah, I know what everyone says about IE 6 so I don't want to get into that debate. Yes, I have all the Windows updates installed, have ad-aware, spybot, spywareblaster, just ran AVAST scans, have Windows XP home with zone alarm 5.0.x also.

 

I know that this will not solve your problem when it comes to IE and i know that you don't want/need to hear this: but more and more experts are telling us to dump IE all together.
I'd really suggest trying out an alternate browser (like Mozilla Firefox, or Opera).
I know that you *specifically* said that you didn't want to get into this debate but enough knolwedgeable sources have said "Dump IE" that I think it is worth it.
I hope that others can help you with IE as that is what you want -but I thought that it was important to re-iterate that IE is flawed.

No - that's ok. I had trouble with IE in the past and used NETSCAPE - that was fine too. But Firefox sure looks like the way to go.

It's just that I'm always curious and am wondering what the deal is with these errors.
