I have a case with a installed PSU currently at 420w, this case is barely 6 months old, I haven't had it for a year! Everytime I am doing something or playing a videogame I get unexpected re-boots, like it restarts itself! Whats the problem?!

There are many different things that can cause unexpected reboots; viruses, bad RAM, CPU, PSU, MoBo, Video Card, incorrect/corrupt drivers, and overheating.

What if any error messages do you recieve?

nope, it just reboots. Sometimes it reboots three times in a row, like if i open up FireFOx, BAM, then AGAIN. It getting annoying. My drives arent old neither both are 1 year each.

Right-click on My Computer select Properties, click-on the Advanced tab, click-on the Settings button under Startup and Recovery, UNCHECK Automatically Restart under System failure, click-on OK, click-on Apply, click-on OK, RESTART your computer. The next time it happens you should get an error message.

OK, slightly different but you are looking for something similar to what I posted. I don't have a Win 2000 box anymore, so I don't remember the place in System Properties it would be located.

    Tecknical information:

To prevent reboots within XP and 2k, you can change a registry key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl

Change key: AutoReboot to 0, by double clicking "AutoReboot" and changing the value to 0.
