Did you read the agreement before you went ahead and installed it??? It should have stated it clearly that it was a limited license.

I'd also like to know a)where you saw this and b)IOBit Pro what. There are lots of IOBit programs.

4 of them have the word Pro in the title.
Most of them cost $19.99. If you like the program, and the 6 months is up, buy it.

It was a sponsored promotion on the MG homepage under Deals. It looks like they changed the description now and removed the 100% free part plus added a time limit. Get Any Two IObit Product for Free Until March 27

It's been years but Iobit once gave me an Advanced System Care lifetime key for helping out in their forums. It expired 3 months later and they then acted like I didn't deserve a free key to begin with. Moral of the story and just my opinion. This isn't really on MajorGeeks (even though they are/were running the promo) it's just how Iobit operates. Tricky language that's really bait and switch.
