unidentified icon

Anyone recognize this icon? It first appeared last Friday on multiple workstations and reported that it was updating. The client says that they have never seen it before and it is now gone from the computers. I searched the hard drive of one of them for all icons and it didn't show up. Also tried a goolge image search but no luck.

Start a new thread in the Malware Removal forum would be your best bet...

 

Well if it a Virus or malware i would recommend going threw are Read and run first.
Please do not Skip any thing in the Read and run thread.
They can get very busy in the malware fourms so be patience.

Thanks for the responses. This was a strange situation. The icon is apparently for Microsoft Forefront EndPoint Protection and was temporarily pushed out to these workstations by mistake. Not sure who was responsible for it but it happened. Just to be safe I did run a couple of malware scans which turned up nothing.
