    Hello

    I have seen this problem before and fixed it by uninstalling multiple virus scanners but it didnt work this time.

    Here is what happend (to the best of my knowledge as the description was vague at best!) The user received an alert for a virus, im not sure what he did to fix it but eventulay he used a restore point to fix the problem. However since then he has been unable to connect to the internet. It appears to connect to the lan but not the internet (says unidentified network) I have run the scans as described in your README post but this hasnt fixed the problem. Could you please take a look at the attached logs and let me know if you can see anything which may be causing this?

    Thanks for your time

    We can clean up a few things, but I think you will do better posting in the networking forum.

    Do you know what this is:
    C:\Windows\System32\drivers\TrueSight.sys

    I am not seeing a related program for it.

    Double-click RogueKiller.exe to run. (Vista/7 right-click and select Run as Administrator)
    When it opens, press the Scan button
    Now click the Registry tab and locate these detections:

    • [TASK][SUSP PATH] {4F115D7E-9D6E-4D27-981B-3D74F2F04533} : C:\Windows\System32\pcalua.exe -a C:\Users\glens\AppData\Local\Temp\Low\Toolbaren.exe -d C:\Users\glens\Desktop -c -s -a /auto -> FOUND
      [TASK][SUSP PATH] {5AD4F926-369E-4147-B3CB-E004651AA425} : C:\Windows\System32\pcalua.exe -a C:\Users\glens\AppData\Local\Temp\Toolbaren.exe -d C:\Users\glens\Desktop -c -s -a /auto -> FOUND
    Place a checkmark each of these items, leave the others unchecked.
    Now press the Delete button.
    When it is finished, there will be a log on your desktop called: RKreport[2].txt
    Attach RKreport[2].txt to your next message.

    After a reboot, rescan with RogueKiller and attach that log as well.
