uninstall problems

Actually, two minor problems, I hope. Probably easy to fix.

1 - Trying to uninstall a program (Finepix Viewer 4.2). It does not show in the add/remove program ( several others don't either ) and I can't find anywhere in the Finepix online manual how to uninstall it. I guess I could just delete the folder, but would that get rid of all of it?

2 - I have deleted some programs using the add/remove program, but the program still shows up in the add/remove box. When I try to remove it again, it tells me I can only remove installed programs, like it's not there. It's not there, but it keeps showing up in the a/r box. How do I get it "out of the box"?

I'm using Windows ME.
