   i`m trying to remove avg free verion 9 so as to run combo fix.when i do it shows the following error"Error: Action failed for registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows: creating registry key....
   Access is denied."
   has anyone also had this problem?thanks

   Try running the appropriate AVG Removal tool from the below link:
   
   http://www.avg.com/us-en/download-tools
   
   If that does not help, just continue on with running ComboFix.... that is if you are following the instructions in the READ & RUN ME. If you are not running the READ & RUN ME, you should not be running ComboFix.
