uninstalling world of warcraft?

Okay, I simply want to uninstall/remove WoW from my laptop due to memory and non-usage issues. However, despite it showing up in my game files, and my being able to open it and play it, I cannot find it in any program files to remove it! I've tried using the Windows removal under the control panel, and CCleaner's uninstall program. But it doesn't show up in either. Is it using some subversive name to avoid removal? How do I remove this stupid program!! Thank you for any help.

 

BTW, it appears I'm the only human on the planet who isn't interested in keeping this on my computer since trying to find such a thread here or on WoW's forums doesn't get any results. However, there must be a way to uninstall this, besides with a sledge hammer.

 

Vista home 32bit. It's on an Acer Computer (please forgive me there) which has been a pain itself since I got it.

 

I tried the revo uninstaller, and I like it, but it doesn't show it either in programs. I used the hunter option on the desktop shortcut icon and it says it can't find an installer for it, and recommends getting rid of it manually. It's been forever since I had to do that. I don't remember the steps to manually uninstalling a program.

 

This is a bit unorthodox, but I've heard of it working.

1) Go to My Computer.
2) Enter Local Disk: C
3) Program Files
4) Find WorldofWarcraft.temp
5) Right click and delete.
6) Empty the trash.

 

Thanks. Hopefully that worked. It's gone from the program files now, and desktop. Let's hope it's gone completely. Time to defraggle and clean up registry again.
