Universal Virus Sniffer 3.41 Alerts!! - Bad Site

Tried to download "Universal Virus Sniffer 3.41" a few moments ago and immediately received "bad site", "black listed warnings" from two of my antivirus/
malware checking programs (MalWareBytes - Full Edition and Comodo Internet Suite - Free Edition). I then did a search just on "Universal Virus Sniffer 3.41" and tried to follow a few links for information. I received similar alerts for most of the links and the authors site? I realize this program may contain a "key generator module" and most antivirus programs will give a "false alert" for this type of code. My question, is this program "clean", and are the links "safe". I am a Computer Engineer and constantly help friends and family stomp out their
viruses, Trogans, worms, etc. TIA.

Hi

I have left a message for someone to check it out. When I did a search, the worst issues seemed to be with the actual sites that were hosting the download.

It could possibly be false positives considering the nature of the software.

Added this note: Currently Avast, AVG and Gdata and Sophos are flagging this as infected. It is a virus scanner and is a false positive, however if you are not comfortable, do not use it.

Thanks you for the quick response, guess you can add MalWare Bytes and Comodo to your "false positive" list. Guess I can terminate this link. Should I just add "Resolved" to the Title/Subject line? Or do you use some other method to identify a close issue?
