The problem just came out of nowhere. I was watching a movie, when suddenly the audio starts becoming real choppy and the video would keep skipping. This has happened before and I resolved the problem by reformatting, but I don't want to have to reformat again soo........I just thought somebody might be able to help? I would really appreciate it.

I'm not running any extra programs that I haven't been using for the past couple of months, so I'm thinking a malware might be running in the background that's taking up extra memory? I'm currently scanning with Eset Nod32. I've also run Spybot which found nothing out of the ordinary and Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware which found 2 trojans.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi

If Malwarebytes found two trojans then I would be heading towards our malware removal forum, but follow the below first then start a new thread in malware forum and give brief explanation of your issue and what trojans where found then attach the requested logs.

Please follow the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST link given futher down and attach the requested logs when you finish these instructions.
    • If you have problems where no tools seem to run, please try following the steps given in the below and then continue on no matter what you find. You only need to try the TDSSserv steps if having problems getting scans in the Read & Run Me First.
    • If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
    • Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.
READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide

    Notes:

    1. If you run into problems trying to run the READ & RUN ME or any of the scans in normal boot mode. You can run steps in safe boot mode but make sure you tell us what you did later when you post logs. See the below if you do not know how to boot in safe mode:
    2. If you have problems downloading on the problem PC, download the tools on another PC and burn to a CD. Then copy them to the problem PC. You will have to skip getting updates if (and only if) your internet connection does not work. Yes you could use a flash drive too but flash drives are writeable and infections can spread to them.

Once finished please start a new thread in the Malware Forum plus a guide on how to attach the logs HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post
