Unknown Power Connector For 4k Monitor

Hi all, I recently bought a portable 18.4 inch 4K monitor from China. Monitor arrived ok all looks good, but the power adapter didn't have a cable with it. One end is USB the other end that connects to the monitor itself, I have no idea! I have attached a photo, if any of you guys know what type of connection this is, very much appreciated.

Are you sure that's the power port? It looks an awful lot like Mini DisplayPort to me....

I think this monitor might get its power from the USB-C port.

As for the manufacturer's reply in Chinese: copy/paste it into Google Translate. You probably won't get all the details, but you should get the gist of it.

 

Double-check the monitor for a small, round hole with a thick pin in the middle. That's a typical power port. There should be a symbol nearby to indicate "power" (not to be confused with a headphone port).

The port you point out is a Mini DisplayPort.
Looking at the monitor's specifications it has the following I/O Ports.

• 2 x HD port
• 1 x DC port
• 1 x mini DP
• 1 x TYPE-C port

The second item listed is where the charger connects. And there's no supplied charger cable.
