You can delete the intlmain.dll file. I'm sure it's not an important file. :)

killapps.exe can be valid or bad. Depends on where it is.

Killapps.exe is used by Creative setup to terminate active applications before installing/uninstalling Creative software. The problem is that the same application is used by several scripts and trojans to terminate anti-virus software and firewalls.

You can obviously figure it out my checking the file Properties.

Did you try deleting fxiegwfr.exe from both locations? And did the renaming of those other files help.

Please read the other post I referenced.

That has to be the DLL behind it all. I used TDS-3 to view the strings included in intlmain.xxx. I believe the following to be the most relevant.

    0841: KERNEL32.DLL
    40854: ADVAPI32.dll
    40867: ole32.dll
    40877: RPCRT4.dll
    40888: urlmon.dll
    40899: WININET.dll
    40913: LoadLibraryA
    40927: GetProcAddress
    40943: RegCloseKey
    40957: CoInitialize
    40971: UuidToStringA
    40987: UrlMkGetSessionOption
    41011: HttpOpenRequestA
    41079: vbterm.dll
    41090: DllRegisterServer

Deleting files: I do it every time. I'm a pro at it now. :)

This situation appears to be resolved. I have not encountered the problem since renaming the two files below -- knock on wood.

Try the Avast Antivirus it is a free anti-vir. it detect virus, trojan, spyware , a lot of diferent kind of malware. I use it and its this one which detect the intlmain.dll. Go there to download: www.avast.com

Is your problem is resolved? what was the file?
