I recently inherited an HP EliteBook when one of my clients failed to request the return of their lap top. The only problem is that they had implemented a log on screen which apparently goes out to their site and looks for authentication. Can I eliminate this small piece of code and if so how would I do so? I kept the laptop boxed up for the past 18 months and just decided to keep it.:cool

I would suggest posting this in the software section of the forums.
