UNLOCKING my Award bios for overclocking

    I own an Asus CG5270 Q8300 CPU,8GB RAM Nvidia gt220 graphics card,640 HD,3 Case Fans + CPU Cooling fan,runs at 28 to 34 degrees celcius.The Award Bios update,which I did before installing service pack 2 for VISTA HOME PREMIUM is 0206,which I downloaded from Asus. SMBIOS VERSION says 2.5 in system information.How do I unlock the Bios so I can O.C. my system.FSB is 1333.

    Welcome aboard, unless you can see/change the FSB and multipliers you're out of luck. Perhaps ASUS's AI Suite utility, which is a Windows based overclocking app, may help you. Don't forget, this is a budget gaming machine so the BIOS will be locked as most budget OEM boards are. Sorry but perhaps someone else has a solution.
