I'm having (malware?) issues on my second PC and want to run the standard scans from here. I have a cable internet connection connected to a wireless router. The PC I want to scan has a wireless PCI adapter. I noticed in the instructions for scanning that I should physically unplug the internet from the PC before running scans. I'm wondering if I can just disable the adapter in Windows XP, or do I have to physically remove the adapter from the PC, or is there another way I should go about this?

Diabling the Adapter will accomplish the same thing.
