Unwanted things in wallpaper list

I keep noticing all these things on my computer that are bugging me. Well today I was going to change my wallpaper.. and I found all sorts of things. All of those things are pictures and drawings i've saved on my computer. Is there anyway I can remove them from my wallpaper list? I don't want them there. Hopefully this makes sense.

 

I think if you delete them it gets them outta there.

 

I don't want to delete some of them though... I need a few of them.
Is that the only way to get rid of them?

 

Nah, I doubt thats the only way to get rid of them. But the only way I've ever solved it was by deleting them. But then again the ones I deleted were ones I could care less about.

 

Every image in your "My Picture" file is in the Background menu.
To get rid of this, delete, or move the files to another folder.

Just select them all at once though and move them. lol

 

How do I make a new folder.... do I make a new folder in My Pictures... or?

 

no like when you move them you can just hold down on the mouse and select them all. Then you can like right click while they are all highlighted and select cut and then paste them into My pictures

It's your choice, but those are just pictures to choose from to put on your desktop. Leaving them right where they are will not hurt you at all, and removing them won't really help you at all. If it's that important to you, go to your My Pictures folder, open it up, go to Edit/Select All, and then Edit/Copy, then paste all the pictures in a new folder on your C drive, or where ever you desire. You can create a new folder on the C drive by right clicking and selecting New/Folder. Name it Cano's pictures, or whatever you want, and paste the pictures in there. Then when you have made sure all the pictures are safely copied to the new folder, go back to My Pictures, Edit/Select all, and delete them.

 

Thank you! That helped a lot. I think i'll just make a folder on my desktop. So now that my pictures are going to be in a new folder, are they still going to be added to the wallpaper list? I hope not lol

If you delete them from the My Pictures, then they won't show up in your wallpaper list!
