Unwanted thumbs data base file

    So is there no way to get rid of these thumbs.db files? I have a large music folder and I always use thumbnail view. I never had this problem until recently. It's only a minor nuissance but I like to keep my music folder tidy.

    The files are going to be created automatically whenever you use thumbnail view. If you are suddenly just seeing them you have probably set your preferences to show hidden files. If you are on XP then in an Explorer window Tools>Folder Options>View tab scroll down and check the circle for "Do not show hidden files" and put a check in the box "Hide System files".
