Update on G.T.

Aww man! I shed a few tears reading post #94. So sad to hear GT is now RIP. He'll be missed, It just won't be the same here without him = \

 

Wow. What a tribute. I knew him not but he sure touched alot of souls. Bless him - and bless you all for giving him such love. This makes me very proud to be a member here and to know you folks. Inspires me to be a better man.

Gary's sister once more...

Well, I thought I'd made my final post, but I must say thank you for your many kind words regarding Gary, your many prayers and condolences. To Sgt. Tibbs - your flowers arrived & were beautiful. I have printed out all of your messages for my parents - knowing that they will be a comfort in the days and months ahead. I was moved beyond words to see the Lounge named in memory of Gary. He'd be so pleased.

I've been a bit absent recently and didn't really expect to come back to this news.

As one of the first online contacts I ever had G.T. means a lot to me. I'm glad to hear that he won't have to deal with the pain any more.

And I second what Kodo said

 

Sad to hear, that GT passed away.

 

I haven't been online for a while, but knew Gary was not in good health. It was a shock to log on and find that he had passed away. R.I.P. Gary Gone but not forgotten, my sympathy and thoughts go to those he left behind. God Bless you all.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.

I've been off this list for a time now and I regret each and every day that I've been gone. To come back and find Gary is called home is bittersweet and I must confess to feeling quite lost and sad. I know that Gary is home with God now and that he no longer feels the pain that he has been struggling with for so long. As everyone else has stated before, Gary was a very special person. He helped me through (along with many other special people on this board) a very difficult time with my sister's passing and for that friendship I will never forget him or the others here. I have no eulogy, no lyrics, no poetry or other such tributes to this man. God knows how I both grieve and celebrate his passing and that I will miss him greatly.......

I've always been really impressed by the dedication of the people who make this site possible. To know that we have lost one of the good ones at such a young age is heartbreaking. I can only imagine what it is like for his family and loved ones. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

 

Sorry to be late in noting the sad passing of GT. I do hope the responses from MG and others have helped the family.

It is so very noticeable how few sad deaths we encounter in communities like MG and other forums, but how deeply felt is the attachment we have for members like GT. We have here experienced birth and death, separation and reunion, joys and sorrows. That is alongside the day by day tribulations and assistances offered. It is as if to be alive is to be a geek.>>Phil

 

Very sorry to hear about this....

I didn't know Gary very well but he always left me with the impression that he was a kind and caring person and overall just a good human being.... His advice was invaluable.... He seemed to have a quiet peace about his health....

We could definitely use more people like Gary in this world... It would be a better place.....

I never really knew him, but after reading this i can see that he was a friend to everyone here, i only wish i had gotten to know him

 

My heart is heavy now. I have been away for a while and came here today to ask about some software when I saw the sad news. I know he will be greatly missed here in this community. I knew that he was sick but didn't realize that he had passed on. So sorry to 'hear' the news today.

 

Yeah GT was a pretty nice chap to me. I am sorry to hear about his passing.
