Update problems

I just got a tower from someone and everytime I try to update they tell me that windows is not genuine. So how do I resolve this problem. There is no books or anything for this computer and I don't know if the xp windows on it is an update or not.

Easy but alas, "painful" fix here leavesrgolden - Obtain, Purchase and Install a "legitimate" XP Operating System.

If the tower was fraudulently sold to you might try contacting Microsoft about this. Go to mocrosoft.com and put the words "Genuine Microsoft Software" (without quotes) in the Microsoft website search engine and poke around there a bit.

mublinder will sort this problem out for you. however only use this program if you are running a genuine copy of windows and experiencing dll problems etc otherwise you are breaking microsoft copywright laws
