Updated My Palemoon, And Had A .dll Error

    but I forgot what it was now. It was something with XCOM.dll but I think there was another letter. I know how much you are all going to appreciate this, lol, apologies.

    Anyway, I am wondering what is the best way to handle this? I did see the .dll repair tool come up in a search but I want to ask you guys first (and lady geeks too;) ). I'm not seeing the error come up again, thus, I can't see the exact name of the .dll.

    If anyone can make heads or tails outa this cryptic message, I would so appreciate your help;) Denise

    Assuming you used the built-in updater for Pale Moon, download a fresh full version, close PM and install the full version over the top.

    Sometimes it's just that your security software is still checking the PM files for a short time after it's been closed, if the System or a security program still holds a file open during the upgrade, that file won't be updated.
