Updated my Rage XL and now can't turn a feature off

I updated my Rage XL AGP 2X and after I did I can't seem to turn a feature off. It's like the screen is too big for my monitor and you have to scroll across everywhere, desktop included. It's really aggravating! I tried to find where to change this and I can't seem to find it. Does anybody know??

Also, I had my computer worked on and the guy changed out my graphics card to this Rage one and it doesn't do as well as the one I previously had. I love to play Sims 2 and this card struggles with it. Any recommendations? I don't want to spend a whole lot, but I want something that can handle a game like Sims 2. I think my previous one was a GeForce.

To change the resolution (if that's what you mean?), right-click an empty part of your desktop, then properties.

In the Settings tab, you can set your desired resolution.


As far as what video card to get, what are your system specs, as in your processor, RAM etc.

If you aren't sure, use Everest, and post the log here as an attachment. (please don't copy and paste the entire log, just attach it only)

Also, there is a tool available to check and see if your system is capable of running The Sims 2 HERE.

Don't run it from the zip container or it won't work. Unzip or extract to any folder, or even your desktop.
