Updatemypc.

UPDATEMYPC tells me I have 2 Macrium Reflects. One is 5.2 and the other is 5.2.6249.
The one in programs and features says 5.2.
I tried removing the other one but both disappeared. I ran system restore and both are back. What should I do with this very important entry?

Go to Program Files (x86) and check whether you have more than one macrium.exe in the Macrium folder. If there is only the one you have a minor error in your registry. It's unlikely to cause problems but if you are concerned about it you should uninstall Macrium and reinstall it.

 

There was only one Macrium in program files (not 86) and Macrium has been uninstalled and reinstalled.
I tested it with my images and it is working as it should.
I am no longer using any programs to check updates as all have had issues with my Win 8 x 64 each proving to be them not me and entailing 3 different issues.
I am updating from the programs themselves.
The latest issue had to with the metro Skype not functioning and interfering with the desktop one. It is written about in the Skype forum.
I am all set now and thank you for writing.
