updating bios

Hi,
I am in the middle of upgrading my video card and was told that I should also update my Bios. I have never done this before, so I am leary of doing it.
Is there a step by step bios upgrade page out there?

Not sure what kind of info you need, so here goes:
Windows XP
Intel P4, 2.53
Motherboard is ECS(elite Group) P4S5A/DX+ version 5.1A
1 gig memory.

What other info do you need?

Here is a list of updates for your BIOS. As ASUS said be careful and don't update if you don't need to. There is a FAQ that tells you how to recover your BIOS on site, but I couldn't find a step by step procedure to update it for you.
